This powerful mosaic attempts to portray the agony of being left behind by a loved one who has passed on. She desperately wants to reach through the divide, to hold on, for  one last contact. 
Made from a combination of  tessarae and stained glass, worked on board,
with charcoal grout and stained pine surround
